Jun 20, 2019 (newstodate): During January-May 2019, Copenhagen Airport saw its total cargo volumes increasing modestly by 2.3 percent, y-o-y, to 143,1235 tonnes.
The growth was, however, secured primarily by cargo on integrators DHL and FedEx that increased their volumes by 23.6 percent, y-o-y, to 31,259 tonnes.
Excluding the integrator traffic, the airport's volumes of belly cargo on passenger aircraft increased by 4.7 percent to 51,781 tonnes during the five-month period, while cargo on freighters was down 9.8 percent to 19,386 tonnes.
Mail volumes at Copenhagen Airport dropped 8.8 percent, y-o-y, to 9,568 tonnes, and trucked cargo also declined by 5.4 percent to 31,130 tonnes.
Altogether, cargo carried on non-integrator flights thus dipped 2.2 percent during the period, to 111,866 tonnes.
