May 01, 2019 (newstodate): Today, LOT Airlines will launch flights on a new route connecting Vilnius, in Lithuania, and London City Airport.
The new route between Vilnius and London City will be operated twice-daily on weekdays and once-daily on weekends during the summer season.
Special to this route opening is that is the first route operating under a unique EU-approved PSO contract where the actual state aid is contingent on number of bookings - more seats sold, less state aid, and when bookings exceed 92 percent of available seats, state aid will be zero.
The flights will be operated with Embraer 190 aircraft
