May 20, 2019 (newstodate): Preparations for Swissport to take over managing the operations of Finnair Cargo's COL Nordic Terminal at Helsinki from June 1, 2019, are in the final stages.
   One consequence of the outsourcing is the transfer of staff to the new operator that has already conducted staff information meetings on Thursday and Friday as news were announced.
   -We made clear that the transfer would entail no changes for employees, and the atmosphere was positive, says Tomi Viitanen, Swissport Finland CEO.
   The contract between Finnair Cargo and Swissport for the operational management of COOL Terminal covers an initial five-year period, with options for future expansion.
