May 13, 2019 (newstodate): The Superjet 100 aircraft is an absolutely safe aircraft, assures Sukhoi Civil Aircraft.
   -The Superjet 100 chassis system meets the most stringent requirements and is absolutely reliable. All Superjet 100 systems are certified according to Russian and European standards. There are no specific features of the Superjet 100 chassis, that is working properly, Sukhoi says in a statement to Interfax.
   The statement follows on the disaster involving a Superjet 100 aircraft after take-off from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport on May 5, 2019.
   The aircraft encountered yet-unidentified problems and returned to Sheremetyevo Airport in a crash-landing costing the lives of 41 people.
