May 20, 2019 (newstodate): Starting from today, SmartLynx Malta is operating for Norwegian on an ACMI contract.
   The Latvian ACMI carrier SmartLynx received its AOC issued by Malta's MAviO only on April 18, 2019 and allocated one Airbus A320 aircraft leased from Aercap and delivered March 25, 2019, to its new base at Malta Luqa Airport, thus entering a new market through its Maltese subsidiary.
   The SmartLynx Malta Airbus A320 will be operating for Norwegian through this summer schedule, marking the new subsidiary's first appearance in the ACMI market.
