May 03, 2019 (newstodate): The small Swedish carrier with an overly long name: Air Large European Aviation Project AB - or Air Leap for short - is expanding its route network.
As of today, May 3, the carrier is launching flights between Oslo and Stockholm Airport, with SAAB 340 aircraft on two weekly rotations.
And starting from August 26, 2019, Air Leap will offer flights between Turku, in Finland, and Stockholm Airport with SAAB 340 aircraft on 10 weekly rotations.
The airline started out on its first route in December 2018, operating a short-haul regional flight in Norway between Oslo and Orland.
Air Leap received its AOC in October 2018 and has now placed three ex-NextJet SAAB 340B aircraft on Swedish registers.
Behind the carrier is the Norwegian fishing group, the Olsen Group.
