May 08, 2019 (newstodate): Air Serbia will be introducing flights from Nis, in Serbia, to Gothenburg during summer 2019.
The carrier has won a tender for scheduled air services under a PSO contract to boost the airport's connectivity, and is now to base one aircraft at the airport for opening of flights on 12 new routes.
As the route to Scandinavia, flights from Nis to Gothenburg is included in this package and will be served two times weekly on a year-round basis starting from July 2019.
In the Swedish market, Ryanair is already operating to Nis from Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
