May 07, 2019 (newstodate): The Polish charter carrier Enter Air, already in the top-3 league in Poland, is to grow bigger and set foot in a new European market.
Enter Air has now bought 49.9 percent of the shares in Germania Flug AG, a subsidiary of the bankrupted German carrier Germania, from Swiss-owned Albex Aviation.
With the acquisition, Enter Air will gain a firm foothold in the German charter market benefiting from Germania Flug's customer portfolio, airport slots and management, as well as the airline's four Airbus A319 aircraft on form contracts in the summer 2019 season.
Enter Air operates as fleet comprising 21 Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, currently grounded but compensated by two Boeing 737-800 leased from the Slovak ACMI carrier Go2Sky, and two Airbus A320 on a lease contract with the Bulgarian carrier Electra Airways.
