May 14, 2019 (newstodate): The Supervisory Board of Tallinn Airport has elected a new chairman of Estonia's capital airport: Riivo Tuvike.
In the office from this month, Mr Tuvike comes with a background outside the aviation industry, last serving as CEO at Luminor Leasing and thus bringing in strong competencies in financing, economics, and international sales.
Especially promising for the country's air cargo industry, Mr Tuvike in his comments on his appointment has stressed a commitment to increasing the number of cargo flights, and creating the necessary environment for this.
Mr Tuvike succeeds the airport's former CEO, Piret Murk-Dubout who left the position by the end of April 2019 after serving since July 2016.
