May 08, 2019 (newstodate): Two more Airbus A220-300 aircraft are approaching delivery to their future Latvian operator.
airBaltic took delivery of its 17th Airbus A220-300 aircraft on April 26, 2019 - and the 18th delivery is now only days away.
The 18th aircraft lifted off on its first flight on April 25, and is now near the end of its flight test program prior to its customer acceptance flight.
In the meantime, the next aircraft for airBaltic has reached the flightline and is awaiting the first flight within days, and three more are soon approaching the assembly line.
airBaltic is thus planning to have a total of 22 Airbus A220-300 aircraft in the fleet before the end of 2019.
