Apr 17, 2019 (newstodate): Uzbekistan Airways is taking delivery of another Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
The newcomer is the airline's fourth Dreamliner, and a fifth aircraft is slated for delivery before the end of this year.
The carrier took delivery of its first Boeing 787-8 aircraft ordered in 2008 on August 31, 2016.
Also part of the ongoing fleet expansion is the delivery earlier this year of two Airbus A320neo aircraft
After phasing out the last remaining Il-114-100 turboprop aircraft from May 2018, Uzbekistan Airways' fleet comprises a total of 28 aircraft including nine Airbus A320, two Airbus A320neo, five Boeing 757, eight Boeing 767 including two in cargo version, and four Boeing 787-8.
