According to Icelandic media reports, Skuli Mogensen is planning for establishing a new airline venture in the low-cost segment, with a fleet of four Airbus A321 and one Airbus A320 aircraft.
If investors are found, and pertinent licenses and an AOC is landed, plans are to set up flights in 2019 from Keflavik to Keflavik airport London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Tenerife, Alicante, Frankfurt, Barcelona, as well as to New York, Baltimore and Boston.
The proposed airline will however, start out with three months in the ACMI business pending approvals for opening scheduled flight operations.
But as of now - it's all in the air..
