Apr 16, 2019 (newstodate): The low-cost carrier Norwegian will have a new Chairman of the Board after the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2019.
Stepping out is Bjorn H. Kise who held the position since 2010 and has earlier announced his resignation.
The AGM will see Danish national Niels Smedegaard entering the Board, and he is destined to be come the successor to Mr Kise - and the only non-Norwegian national on the Board and at the executive level.
Mr Smedegaard has served since 2007 as President and CEO of the Danish maritime company DFDS but his career also includes top management positions with SAS Service Partner, Gate Gourmet and Swissair.
