Apr 24, 2019 (newstodate): For the first time, Copenhagen will host this year's FlyPharma Conference, October 22-23, 2019.
The event, co-hosted by FlyPharma and SAS Cargo, will present views and experience from a list of speakers rooted in the industry including Petter Hartman, Medicon Valley CEO, Morten Wagner, IdemoLab, Force Technology Head of Digitalization, Paul Dhami, Copenhagen Capacity Head of Supply Chain, Logistics & E-commerce Team, and Leif Rasmussen, SAS Cargo CEO & President.
The event is supported by and Pharma.Aero, while comprising also exhibitions by among others Finnair Cargo.
The first FlyPharma Europe conference took place in Brussels in 2018, and Copenhagen is thus only the second site to host the event.
SAS Cargo has a strong focus on serving the pharma industry and became the second carrier in the Nordic region to complete the IATA Pharma certification in 2016.
As a next step, the SAS Group company Spirit Air Cargo Handling completed the CEIV certification of all three Scandinavian hubs in spring 2018.
Also in 2018, SAS Cargo launched a new pharma product, SAS Pharma Cargo to support its important role in the pharma logistics industry.
