Apr 30, 2019 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT is seeking CEIV Pharma certification to gain a share in the hastily growing pharma air transport market.
The process is already well advanced, and LOT expects the certificate to be granted before the end of October this year.
Poland is the world's 25th largest pharma import/export country, as well as being the largest pharma market in Central and Eastern Europe and the 6th largest in Europe.
As the first CEIV Pharma certified carrier in the East European region, LOT will greatly boost its - and Warsaw Airport's - position in the East European markets in competition to leading airports including Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Vienna.
