Apr 02, 2019 (newstodate): The first new airline to announce flights to Iceland in summer 2019 is the Dutch low-cost carrier Transavia.
Starting from July 1, 2019, Transavia, member of the Air France/KLM Group, will offer three weekly rotations on the route between Amsterdam and Keflavik.
Behind the initiative is the Dutch travel group Voigt Travel that is also to offer flights by Transavia between
Amsterdam and Akureyri with the first operation on May 27, 2019.
The new arrival at Keflavik will contribute to covering the void left after the recent demise of WOW Air.
