Apr 24, 2019 (newstodate): The African airline Air Tanzania is to expand its foothold for passenger sales in new European markets through a new agreement with passenger and cargo GSA provider TAL Aviation Group.
Sweden is among three new European markets to be boosted, alongside France and Ireland.
Managed by Fredrik Romero, TAL Aviation Nordic AB is the sole representative of Aegean Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas, ASL Airlines, Binter, Blue Air, Hainan Airlines, Jet Airways, SriLankan Airlines, Air Tanzania and Wyndham Hotel Group in Sweden.
Based at Dar es Salaam, Air Tanzania currently serves five international and 10 domestic destinations with a fleet comprising one Bombardier Q300, three Bombardier 400, with delivery of additional Q400 before the end of this year.
Also in the pipeline is delivery of two Airbus A220-300 and one Boeing 787-8 before December 2019.
This year, the airline plans to launch new flights to China, South Africa, Thailand and India.
