Mar 15, 2019 (newstodate): Mittarfeqarfiit, Greenland Airports, managing the country's 13 airports and 46 helipads, will again be in the market searching for a new managing director.
Abruptly stepping down is Marie Fleischer, appointed only on June 1, 2017.
Ms Fleischer took up her position after a prolonged search to find the successor to Jens Lauridsen, who served as Managing Director from 2012, but stepped down from the office by the end of August 2016.
In the interim period, the position as Mittarfeqarfiit managing director was then filled by the company's current COO Niels Grosen, with the company since 1998.
The continued top-executive turbulence comes amid a period with large projects to build a new airport infrastructure upgrading both domestic and Atlantic flight services under continued public uncertainty and politicization.
