Mar 06, 2019 (newstodate) The Ukrainian start-up low-cost carrier Jonika Airlines has been cleared to start flights between Ukraine and Sweden.
Ukraine's State Aviation Services has granted rights for Jonika Airlines to launch flights on two new routes including two weekly rotations between Kiev and Gothenburg, as well as three weekly rotations between Kiev and Erbil.
Set up in 2016, Jonika Airlines registered its first aircraft, a Boeing 737-300 , in April 2017 and plans to launch flights also to Tbilisi in Georgia and to Greece from Kiev.
