Mar 19, 2019 (newstodate): the UK/Swedish cargo carrier West Atlantic is opening a new base at Amsterdam, in Holland.
The company is to allocate one of its ATP turbojet freighter aircraft at Amsterdam to optimize its services to European customers.
The carrier is thus now calling applicants for ATP cockpit crews to be based at the new site.
In 2018, West Atlantic managed to sell four of its ATP freighters, but by the end of the year the fleet still comprised 31 aircraft of which 17 are long-term parked, 13 in service and one on a dry-lease contract.
