Mar 12, 2019 (newstodate): The Russian LCC Pobeda is planning for its first flight into the Baltic region.
Starting from April 30, 2019, the carrier will be offering up to three weekly rotations on a new route between Moscow Vnukovo and Riga, in Latvia, going up to daily flights from September 16, 2019.
This will become the carrier's first Baltic route, following on Popbeda's entry into the Nordic market with flights between Moscow Vnukovo Airport and Helsinki, in Finland, starting from October 5, 2018.
This route proved short-lived, however, as Pobeda soon pulled out again with the last flight performed on January 31, 2019.
