Mar 19, 2019 (newstodate): Finnair is further strengthening the Norwegian market's access to its Asian flights with a new route opening.
Finnair is thus to open a new year-round route between Helsinki and Trondheim in Norway in June 2019, as well as increasing the frequency of flights on the existing route between Tromso and Helsinki.
With five weekly rotations, the coming new route to Trondheim will be operated under a wet-lease contract with Wideroe serving the route with Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
From June 4, 2019, Finnair will increase to three weekly rotations between Tromso and Helsinki, also in a wet-lease agreement with Wideroe set up in May 2017.
