Mar 22, 2019 (newstodate): The Estonian capacity provider Regional Jet is placing one CRJ900 with a Serb airline.
The aircraft will operate for Air Serbia for a four-month period, based at Belgrade Airport.
From late in 2018 and into 2019, the Estonian carrier Nordica has pulled out from most of it scheduled services network, to focus instead on providing aircraft capacity for airlines in the charter and ACMI market, with SAS, LOT and other customers.
Nordica was set up in the aftermath of Estonian Air's demise in September 2015, with flights operated by various capacity providers, and in November 2016, LOT acquired 49 percent of the stake in Regional Jet, a Nordica subsidiary and capacity provider to Nordica with own AOC.
In the fleet are now 19 aircraft including seven ATR 72-600 operated for SAS, two CRJ700, and 10 CRJ900, five of which are operated for LOT.
