Feb 04, 2019 (newstodate): The European Aviation Safety Agency EASA has issued a ban on Turkmenistan Airlines' flights into EU airspace. While EASA's Air Safety List, last updated on in November 2018, has not been amended, Turkmenistan Airlines' flights on routes into the EU have been suspended pending confirmation that it meets international air safety standards. The carrier has been operating flights to Birmingham and London, to Paris, and to Frankfurt, and these operations are now suspended.
