Feb 11, 2019 (newstodate): The Portuguese aircraft leasing and ACMI company HiFly has announced a second year with the Airbus A380 on firm lease contract. Without revealing the customer for the A380, HlFly has confirmed that the aircraft has been placed on a firm contract with a single customer for the entire summer 2019 schedule from March till October. HiFly placed the order for the ex-Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 aircraft in September 2017, and took delivery of the aircraft in July 2018. HiFly is not precluding adding more A380 aircraft to the fleet after consolidating the experience with the first aircraft.
