Feb 04, 2019 (newstodate): The date for launch of Chinese carrier Juneyao Airlines' new flights to Finland has now been confirmed. The opening flight from Shanghai to Helsinki will be performed on June 28, 2019, and the carrier will then be offering three weekly rotations using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. According to Finnish media reports, Juneyao Airlines is in talks with Finnair over cooperation concerning both passenger and cargo, currently working on a MoU. Juneyao Airlines will introduce competition on the route operated by Finnair since September 2004 and today served with daily flights.
