Feb 14, 2019 (newstodate): Breaking an otherwise negative trend in aviation business, Denmark is to see the launch of a new carrier: Great Dane Airlines. The coming new airline will offer flights with Embraer 195 aircraft from Aalborg Airport to passengers in the business, private and charter segments, with Danish tour operator Bravo Tours among its launch customers. The carrier, with Thomas Hugo Moller as its managing director as well as 50 percent owner together with Huy Duc Nuyen also holding 50 percent, will start out with two aircraft and a business plan comprising flights to European destinations where routes from Aalborg to destinations including Dublin, Edinburgh and Nice are seen as viable opportunities with no direct competition. Plans are to recruit eight cockpit crews and 12 cabin crews for a start, based at Aalborg Airport.
