Feb 25, 2019 (newstodate): Icelandair is preparing for a future after the Boeing 757 fleet that currently serves the carrier on long-haul routes.
According to media, Icelandair has thus approached both Boeing and Airbus for proposals to gradually replace the Boeing 757 aircraft fleet.
In the fleet of Icelandair are now 25 Boeing 757-200 and two Boeing 757-300 aircraft as well as four Boeing 767-300ER.
