Feb 01, 2019 (newstodate): Russia's St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport has named Finnair the most dynamically developing foreign carrier.
In 2018, Finnair operated three daily flights to St Petersburg from Helsinki, seeing passenger volumes on the route up by 43.3 percent, y-o-y.
Boosting the passenger figures was also the replacement of ATR 72 with Embraer 190 aircraft and later also the introduction of Airbus A320 Family aircraft on one of the daily flights during the period August 2018 to the end of March 2019.
But it does not end there: from the start of the coming summer 2019 schedule, Finnair will add a fourth daily flight on the route to further grow its passenger volumes between St Petersburg and Helsinki.
