Dec 10, 2019 (newstodate): The privately-owned Ukrainian carrier Windrose Aviation is to add six turboprop aircraft to its fleet.
So far an all-jet aircraft operator, the carrier has been commissioned by the State Aviation Administration to launch services on six domestic routes in Ukraine, creating a need for a suitable aircraft type to be added to the fleet.
The carrier has signed a LoI for lease of eight ATR 72-600 aircraft to be delivered in 2020-2022.
In the fleet are now 13 aircraft including one Airbus A320, five Airbus A321, and seven Embraer ERJ145.
