Published: 19-12-2019 SAS renews MRO contract for redelivery of phased-out aircraft

Dec 19, 2019 (newstodate): The Irish MRO provider Eirtech Aviation has now completed Phase I of its contract with SAS for end-of-lease technical services on more than 40 leased Boeing 737, Airbus 320 and Airbus 340 aircraft.
The contract was signed in May 2016, and Eirtech Aviation, based at Shannon, has been allocating a technical services team of more than 20 people for the project in addition to Eirtech's CAMO team.
Eirtech Aviation has now landed a new contract with SAS with Phase II of the program to start in January 2020 and running till the end of 2023 as the carrier redelivers the aircraft to their owners.
