Dec 03, 2019 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's SCAT Airlines is planning for a return of services to Lithuania in summer 2020.
The carrier first launched flights during the summer season on the route between Astana and Vilnius from May 2018, with two weekly rotations served with Boeing 737 aircraft.
The carrier, however, did not come back in 2019, but now says it will return in summer 2020 between Nur-Sultan, earlier named Astana, and Vilnius.
SCAT Airlines was on the list of air carriers banned in the EU until December 8, 2016.
