Dec 11, 2019 (newstodate): Ukraine is mulling plans for privatization of four of the country's airports.
Plans comprise Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport, Zaporizhia International Airport, Kherson International Airport, and Chernivtsi Leonid Kadenuik International Airport.
This summer, IFC, the International Finance Corporation, was assigned to start a selection process for a technical advisor to be tasked with working out a pre-feasibility study on the airports' potentials for a change of ownership through a PPP structure.
A report is now expected to be presented by March 2020 and will provide the basis for a decision on whether to continue towards a tender process for commercial management of the four airports.
