Dec 12, 2019 (newstodate): In 2020, the Ryanair subsidiary Lauda is opening a new base in Zadar, in Croatia, announcing a spree of new routes.
Initially allocating three Airbus A320 aircraft to the base, Lauda will offer flights from the start of May 2020 to 12 destinations, including Aarhus in Denmark, Kaunas in Lithuania and Riga in Latvia.
Zadar Airport is thus looking forward to a major boom in air traffic in 2020, with new routes also announced by other carriers including SAS with flights from Copenhagen and Ryanair from Gdansk, in Poland.
