Dec 10, 2019 (newstodate): The EU Commission has published its latest revision of its Black List on Air Safety.
   The list comprises 155 airlines that are totally banned from entering EU airspace including 109 airlines from 15 countries, as well as six airlines singled out for lack of safety compliance: Avior Airlines, Iran Aseman Airlines, Iraqi Airways, Blue Wing Airlines, Med-View Airlines and Air Zimbabwe.
   With this latest revision, Gabon has been lifted off the list after many years, but otherwise the list contains few changes against the earlier version.
   As one specific issue, the EU Commission has placed the Armenian Civil Aviation Committee under heightened scrutiny because of signs of a decrease in safety oversight.
