The airport is today serving eight Chinese carriers including Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Capital Airlines, and Lucky Air, and three Russian airlines - Aeroflot, Nordwind Airlines, and Pegas Fly - are currently offering flights from Sheremetyevo to various cities throughout China.
During this latests summer schedule, Sheremetyevo Airport saw an average of 15 flights a day to 27 Chinese destinations.
In 2018, Sheremetyevo received more than 2.36 million passengers from China, up 14 percent, y-o-y.
Estimates for 2019 predict another 12 percent growth of passenger traffic, to 2.62 million incoming travellers from China.
In 2018, Air China reigned #1 at Sheremetyevo Airport with a market share at 18.2 percent, followed by Aeroflot that held 7.8 percent of the market for China-traffic at the airport.
