Dec 09, 2019 (newstodate): Only one day after the delivery in Riga Airport of the 21st Airbus A220-300 for the Latvian carrier airBaltic on December 6, 2019, the airline's next aircraft performed its virgin flight.
The 67th Airbus A220-300 to fly has thus now started its flight test program expected to result in a delivery just in time for fulfilling airBaltic's long-published plan for a fleet of 22 aircraft by the end of this year.
airBaltic will then have taken delivery of six new Airbus A220-300 aircraft in 2019, with this year's two last deliveries part of the follow-up order for another 30 aircraft.
