Dec 09, 2019 (newstodate): Hungary's Budapest Airport will see its first connection to the new international airport serving Moscow: Zhukovsky Airport.
Opening the new route will be the Russian airline Ural Airlines that will be offering three weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft starting from December 28, 2019.
Budapest is already connected with Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport by Aeroflot, and with Moscow Vnukovo Airport by Wizz Air.
Earlier under military command and serving also as a facility for air transport of Russian relief shipments to world disaster zones, Ramenskoye Zhukovsky Airport was officially opened for traffic from March 15, 2016, as the 4th international airport to serve the Moscow area.
