Dec 02, 2019 (newstodate): Declining import volumes are still hampering cargo growth at Denmark's Billund Airport in November 2019.
The total volume actually increased by 8.2 percent, y-o-y, to 6,999 tonnes, which is a feat in itself. But while exports contributed generously with an increase by 17.4 percent to 5,076 tonnes, declining imports pulled negatively by 10.2 percent, landing at a mere 1,923 tonnes.
This year's January-November totals thus landed at 68,313 tonnes, which is an increase by 0.8 percent.
But while exports have increased by 6.4 percent, y-o-y, to 47,185 tonnes, import volumes are down 9.7 percent to 21,130 tonnes
