Dec 05, 2019 (newstodate): American Airlines is changing its program for scheduled flights to Iceland in 2020.
In summer 2020, American Airlines is thus pulling out from the route served seasonally since summer 2017 between Dallas and Keflavik, in Iceland - but will retain its presence in the Icelandic market.
Starting from June 4, 2020, the carrier will instead be offering flights during the summer season on the route between Philadelphia and Keflavik with daily rotations using Boeing 757 aircraft.
Icelandair has been serving the route in summer schedules to Philadelphia since May 30, 2017, with four weekly rotations.
