Nov 15, 2019 (newstodate): Uzbekistan Airways is eyeing new business potentials from utilizing the 5th Freedom Rights expected to be introduced at Russia's St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport.
   Routing flights through St Petersburg would allow the carrier to launch flights between Uzbekistan and destinations in Europe where Norway and Finland have been singled out, in addition to Canada and the USA.
   Under the 5th Freedom, Uzbekistan can operate flights carrying passengers, cargo and mail between an airport in Uzbekistan and any destination in third countries via St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport, with full commercial rights at all points.
