Nov 22, 2019 (newstodate): Volumes of flown cargo at Lithuania's Vilnius Airport is rising continuously in 2019.
In October 2019, the airport thus handled a total of 1,296 tonnes of flown cargo, an increase by 8.63 percent, y-o-y.
The totals included 1,114 tonnes of cargo and 163 tonnes of mail.
During the first 10 months of 2019, the airport has thus handled 11,313 tonnes of cargo and mail, an increase by 8.32 percent, y-o-y.
Contributing strongly to the positive cargo growth at Vilnius Airport is Turkish Cargo's freighter flights since April 19, 2018, with two weekly Airbus A330-200F rotations.
