Swedavia Real Estate is working on plans for a major logistics initiative between the airport and the highway, comprising an area of 500,000 sq m of premises dedicated to warehousing, handling and logistics businesses.
Driving the project is Swedavia Real Estate that is to publish details in December 2019 to rouse interest among investors, potential operators and other stakeholders in the industries concerned.
Driving the process will be key players among express cargo companies and the e-trade business, including logistics providers.
If the projects meets the requirements in the industries, the start of constructing the pertinent infrastructure and concrete buildings after tendering may commence by the end of next year, with the first operations to start in 2022.
