Nov 13, 2019 (newstodate): Volumes of flown cargo at Oslo Airport increased by 3.3 percent, y-o-y, in the first nine months of this year.
A total of 134,630 tonnes of cargo was thus lifted in and out of Oslo Airport, dominated by exports where volumes were up 6.6 percent to 96,893 tonnes, while imports dropped four percent, y-o-y, to 37,914 tonnes during January-September 2019.
No statistics covering the volume of trucked cargo through Oslo Airport are available, but in 2018 Avinor said that some 40 percent was flown cargo while another 60 percent was carried on trucks into other Nordic and continental European hubs for uplift.
Quite speculatively: if the proportion was still valid, another some 150.000 tonnes would have left Oslo Airport on trucks during the nine-months period in 2019.
