Nov 14, 2019 (newstodate): Kyrgyzstan has seen the launch of a new cargo carrier - Kyrgyz Airlines Plus.
Set up by a group of private investors, the new cargo carrier has taken delivery of its first freighter, an Airbus A300B4 offering an uplift capacity at some 44 tonnes of cargo.
Plans are to develop a route network comprising flights from Manas International Airport to destinations in Russia, Turkey, China, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and Southeast Asia, providing services to the e-trade businesses as well as carrying general cargo and perishables.
Managing and co-owning the cargo airline registered on October 24, 2019, is Jenish Orozbaev as CEO, with Almaz Matmusaev also among the investors in the carrier.
