Nov 28, 2019 (newstodate): Market response to the Polish carrier LOT's non-stop route between Budapest, Hungary and Seoul, South Korea is driving the carrier to increase capacity after only two months of service.
LOT performed its inaugural flight between Budapest and Seoul on September 23, 2019, but is now announcing the addition of a fourth weekly frequency from May 2020 in order to meet market demands.
Since October 17, 2016, LOT is also operating direct flights to Seoul from its home turf at Warsaw Airport initially offering three weekly rotations on the route with Boeing 787-8 aircraft and now up to five weekly rotations.
