Nov 19, 2019 (newstodate): Indian air cargo statistics do not come without some delay - but now, figures for Q1/2019 are available.
On the Helsinki-Delhi route, Finnair lifted 672 tonnes during January-March 2019, with 822 tonnes carried from Delhi to Helsinki.
This compares to 639 tonnes carried in Q1/2018 on the route Helsinki-Delhi, and 315 tonnes from Delhi to Helsinki.
On the route Copenhagen-Delhi, Air India lifted 297 tonnes in Q1/2019, and 435 tonnes from Delhi to Copenhagen.
In Q1/2018, Air India transported 299 tonnes from Copenhagen to Delhi, with 315 tonnes in the opposite direction.
On the route Stockholm-Delhi, Air India lifted 190 tonnes of cargo in Q1/2019, with 197 tonnes from Delhi to Stockholm.
And in Q1/2018, the carrier transported 282 tonnes from Stockholm to Delhi, and 189 tonnes from Delhi to Stockholm.
Finnair started operations to Delhi, India, from November 1, 2006, while Air India launched flights from Delhi to Stockholm from August 15, 2017, and from Delhi to Copenhagen from September 16, 2017.
