Nov 20, 2019 (newstodate): Georgia is keen to develop its portfolio of air services agreements with the world.
On the agenda now is negotiating an air services agreement with Sough Korea, to support the groundwork for the start of scheduled services between Seoul and Tbilisi.
Already since summer 2018, Korean Air has been performing charter flights between the two destinations, and the volumes of air passengers from South Korea to Georgia has been up 23.7 percent, y-o-y, to 15,552 during the first 10 months of this year.
The two countries established diplomatic relations on December 14, 1992.
