Nov 15, 2019 (newstodate): In its first contract with Finnair, the Dutch regional aircraft leasing company Truenoord has placed three Embraer aircraft with Norra, Finnair's provider of regional services.
The three Embraer E190LR aircraft have been purchased with leases attached from GOAL Aircraft Leasing, and are now being sub-leased and operated by Nordic Regional Airlines.
Managed by Janne Tarvainen as CEO, Norra currently operates flights for Finnair on routes from Helsinki to destinations in Finland, the Baltic region, to Stockholm Bromma and to Gdansk with a fleet comprising 12 ATR and 12 E190 aircraft.
In August 2018, the Danish airline DAT acquired 60 percent of the shares in Norra where Finnair retains the remaining 40 percent.
