Nov 20, 2019 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time plans to operate an average of 11 aircraft during the summer 2020 schedule.
The fleet will thus comprise five Boeing 737-700 and six Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
-Two Boeing 737-700 aircraft will leave the fleet during 2020, while two Boeing 737-800 aircraft leased from AerCap and earlier operated by TUI will be phased in already by the turn of this year, resulting in the average of 11 aircraft with nine aircraft dedicated to charter and two dedicated to ACMI operations, says Birthe Madsen, Jet Time VP Management Support.
The carrier's new strategy, core2explore 2025, aims at growing the split between charter and ACMI to 2/3 and 1/3, respectively, up from roughly 80/20 in 2018, calling for adding more aircraft during the strategy period.
